Moon Journaling

Track your own cycle

A few lines a day, noted against the moon phase, to learn your own patterns of energy, mood and focus.

Why it helps

Over a few months, simple notes reveal patterns that are easy to miss day to day: when you have the most energy, when you need rest, when emotions run high.

What to write

  • Today's moon phase (check Tonight's sky on the home page).
  • Energy from 1 to 10.
  • One word for your mood.
  • One thing that stood out today.

Prompts for the main phases

  • New Moon: What do I want to begin?
  • First Quarter: What is challenging me, and what will I choose?
  • Full Moon: What has come to light? What can I release?
  • Last Quarter: What am I ready to forgive or let go of?
